Accountability - Coding, Cash and Compliance Retainer

MAG Mutual HealthCare Solutions, Inc. (MMHSI), your medical publication and practice consulting resource, presents a retainer agreement that allows you to practice medicine while we work with you to manage your practice. For the cost of a part-time employee, MAG Mutual can provide a certified management consultant to provide practice management oversight to your office.

Key Elements Includes an analysis of the:

  • Charges, collection, A/R, denial rates, coding, and overhead expenditures that ultimately determine your salary
  • Entire billing process – from charge ticket to EO(M)B
  • Your staffs ability to convert your work into revenue

The retainer agreement itself focuses on:

  • Establishing daily, monthly, and annual goals for your practice
  • Assisting your providers and staff meet those goals

Step 1: Analysis
Where are you at compared to your peers in the same specialty / region of the country?

Step 2: Meeting With Providers
After the initial analysis, we sit down with you and/or your staff to discuss where you are, where you should be and most importantly, how to achieve your goals.

Step 3: Establishment of Goals
MMHSI will work with you to establish solid goals for your practice in order for you to obtain the salary you deserve.

Step 4: Communication with Staff
Once the goals are established, MMHSI conveys that information to individual team members and works closely with them to ensure goals are met on daily, monthly and annual timeframes.

Step 5: Monthly / Quarterly Meetings
Each month, we will return to your office and analyze the key financial indicators for your practice to determine your staffs ability to meet their stated goals. Should discrepancies arise, we’ll identify the breakdowns in the system and make corrections. The key to these monthly meetings is accountability. Once the staff understand that they will be held to an established set of goals, and those goals are easily identifiable, changes do occur.
