Our Kinston office does retirement plan accounting for approximately 120 of our clients. This accounting includes a detailed bookkeeping of the retirement plan assets. Monthly brokerage statements for the plans are received at our office and are used to complete the annual valuations.
Practices receive individual participant statements, the filing of the Form 5500 with the Department of Labor, Form 1099-R reporting, 945 reporting and NC State Tax withholding reporting. Any IRS notices received by the clients regarding the above filings are filtered through our office and handled accordingly.
We assist office managers with distributions from their retirement plans when participants are terminated or retired. Forms are provided to aid the office managers in the preparation of these distributions.
Plans being serviced include Profit Sharing Plans, Money Purchase Pension Plans and 401-K Plans.
