George Inman's primary background has been as a comptroller and chief operating officer in hospitals. His exposure has been in both rural settings and in large metropolitan areas. He has a Bachelor and Master’s degree in Business Administration.
His specialties include policy formulation, program implementation, large-scale facility renovation, equipment installation, and financial assessment.
His accomplishments include the following: Financial resurrection of a small community hospital, effective resolution of a very large scale Medicare “abuse” issue re hospital medical records. Initiation and implementation of a hospital wide quality, compliance, and monitoring program. Board Member of 55 unit Physician Office Condominium Association Creation of residency program with George Washington University. Coordination of hospital bylaw conversion from Physician Owned Model to Proprietary Chain Model. Completion of Certificate of Needs, Short and Long Term Management Plans, Capital Budgeting. Coordination of $5,000,000 asbestos abatement project. Building of a surgical intensive care unit and emergency room in a large urban hospital. Installation of various larger scale special equipment. Site planning and zoning exposures in larger metro areas. Policy creation legal, administrative, and medical (i.e. Natural Death Act, Organ Donation, Consents, Releases, Hazmat, etc.) Physician recruiting, Physician/Hospital contracting, Managed Care contracting. Three each 3 year JCAHO accreditation’s. Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.
